NEXT SCHOOL TESTING
December 18th & 19th, 2023
The students will be tested during their regular scheduled classes this cycle on Monday the 18th and Tuesday the 19th. Belt promotions will be held during their regular class times on Wednesday the 20th and Thursday the 21st. We hope everyone has a safe and fun winter break this year. Good luck testers and mid-termers!

ATTN: Recommended Black Belts and Black Belts! This could be a mid-term for you depending on where you are in the cycle. Please be sure that if this is your mid-term, that you know all of your forms and one-steps! It is your responsibility to keep track of your mid-term dates. If you are not sure, please see Master Frega, Master Beard, or Miss Cunningham. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your testing time.

Rank at FTKD is earned and not given. Students are examined under pressure against an industry recognized curriculum using the Kukkiwon's stict quantifiable standards. Rank issued is recognized internationally.

Black Belts "Are Not" examined at the school. They must present themselves to an independent regional or national examination panel, depending on rank and earn their rank by meeting an industry recognized standard of quality.

Welcome to Folsom Family Taekwondo Center! Folsom Family Taekwondo Center is an award winning Taekwondo school that has been providing professional martial arts training for over 40 years, and we are proud of our program and the success stories that go with it! Folsom Family Taekwondo's programs have been responsible for training over a thousand black belt students and many National Champions as we take great pride in our commitment to excellence. In addition, we highly value the relationships with our students and their families, and as a result, our program has a very high retention rate with students who have been with us for 15 years or longer.
Folsom Family Taekwondo Center is owned and operated by Chief Master Jack Corrie, 9th degree Black Belt. We are a Kukkiwon Certified School, which is very important to an individuals martial arts training. Being a Kukkiwon school means that we are held to the strictest standards by the Kukkiwon who oversees Taekwondo world wide. As you train at our school, when you obtain your Black Belt, because you have achieved it with the Kukkiwon's approval, you will be recognized as a black belt both Nationally and Internationally. There are many, many Taekwondo schools, but unless they have the Kukkiwon approval, the black belt is only as good as the piece of paper it is written on.
In addition to our affiliation with the Kukkiwon, Folsom Family Taekwondo Center has a heritage rooted originally in the Korean Moo Duk Kwan. We are also associated with USA Taekwondo giving us access to the Olympic Taekwondo circuit in the U.S., and to the International Olympic Taekwondo circuit through the World Taekwondo Federation. If you are considering starting your Taekwondo journey, or continuing on from your present journey, we invite you to come visit us! 2024 Seminar Calendar
FTKD seminars are designed to provide our club members specialized training to enhance their overall martial arts knowledge. All Black Belt Club, Jr. Leadership and Trainee members attend these events on the 3rd Saturday of each month at no additional cost. Non-club members may participate for an additional $50 and parents are allowed to participate for free.
All Seminars are 1 hours in duration & will be taught by special Guests in 2024
Dress code is T-Shirt & TKD pants or sweats.
